Fire breaks out at Telangana CM's religious ceremony, no casualties
According to reports, more than 10,000 people were present at the venue of the five-day ritual at K Chandrashekar Rao's farmhouse.
A huge fire broke out at a farmhouse where Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was conducting a religious ceremony in the Medak district on Sunday. Four fire tenders were rushed to the site, according to reports, before the blaze was extinguished. The police said there were no casualties.
Times Now reported that more than 10,000 people were present at the venue of the five-day ritual, including the chief minister and other VVIPs. A visit by President Pranab Mukherjee was reportedly cancelled due to the incident.
The ritual, being performed for universal good and peace, started on December 23, reported PTI.
