No visible difference between UPA-II and Narendra Modi governments: Anna Hazare
The social activist said he wrote to the prime minister to remind him of his pre-electoral promises of building a corruption-free India and bringing back black money.
Veteran social activist Anna Hazare said there is "no visible difference" between the United Progressive Alliance-II and the current Narendra Modi-led governments, The Hindu reported on Friday.
Hazare said he wrote a letter to the prime minister, reminding him of his pre-electoral promises to bring black money back to the country within 100 days, and to build a corruption-free India. The 78-year-old anti-corruption activist said that Modi was yet to fulfill any of his promises, adding that people still have "to pay money to get work done".
The activist also hinted at launching another anti-corruption movement in the country, similar to the one he had spearheaded in 2011 during the UPA-II regime.
