One person was killed in a blast triggered by an improvised explosive device in Manipur’s Chingamathak area, near an Assam Rifles installation, on Sunday morning, PTI reported. Officials said they suspect unidentified militants planted the device, which exploded at 8.10am.

Security personnel have cordoned off the area.
