Jammu and Kashmir: Constable killed after ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Samba sector, says BSF
In another incident, a militant was killed and a jawan was injured in an encounter in Pulwama.

The Border Security Force on Thursday said one of its soldiers was killed after Pakistan violated the ceasefire in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba sector. The BSF constable was identified as Tapan Mondal.
The paramilitary force said it had retaliated against the Pakistan Rangers in Samba and also caused damage to a few Pakistani posts. At least two Pakistani Army soldiers were injured, BSF said.

Meanwhile, a militant was killed and a soldier was injured in an encounter with security forces in Pulwama’s Samboora village in Jammu and Kashmir. Two militants are believed to be trapped in the area, and an encounter is under way.
