Jammu and Kashmir: Sub-inspector killed after militants open fire on police party in Srinagar

Suspected militants opened fire on a police party in Srinagar’s Zakura area in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday, killing one sub-inspector, ANI reported. A special officer was also injured in the attack.
According to reports, the police has launched searches and cordoned off Zakura after receiving specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
