The sons of Rajasthan Cabinet Minister Hem Singh Bhadana have been booked on the charges of kidnapping and assaulting a law student in Alwar on Wednesday after they saw him standing with a group of people who were allegedly abusing their father, Hindustan Times reported.

The father of Tej Singh Yadav, who was reportedly attacked by Surendra Bhadana and Hitesh Bhadana, said that the minister’s sons were passing by when the group was conversing and they noted down the number of Yadav’s motorcycle.

The Bhadana brothers allegedly tracked Yadav and barged into his house in the city’s Shivaji Park neighbourhood along with 12 others. The accused took him to their house in the Veer Savarkar Nagar area at gunpoint and beat him up.

“They hit me with a rod,” Yadav said. “I became unconscious and did not know what they did to me. They tied me up with wires.” They also asked him about the others who were present in the crowd.

The police accompanied Satish Yadav, Tej Singh Yadav’s father, to the Bhadana brothers’ house, Shivaji Park Station House Officer Vinod Sawriya told Hindustan Times. The brothers reportedly refused to let Satish Yadav take his son to the hospital and told him to go home. “They said they were minister’s sons and would kill us if we did otherwise,” Satish Yadav said.

Hem Singh Bhadana could not be reached for comments, Hindustan Times reported.
