Alwar lynching: Minister Piyush Goyal calls Rahul Gandhi ‘merchant of hate’ for targeting PM Modi
Goyal lashed out at the Congress president for saying the incident occurred in Narendra Modi’s ‘brutal New India’.

Union minister Piyush Goyal called Congress President Rahul Gandhi a “merchant of hate” on Monday, hours after Gandhi criticised the Rajasthan Police’s response to an alleged lynching in the state’s Alwar district. The minister took to Twitter to ask Gandhi to “stop jumping with joy every time a crime happens”.
Stop jumping with joy every time a crime happens, Mr Rahul Gandhi.

The state has already assured strict & prompt action.
You divide the society in every manner possible for electoral gains & then shed crocodile tears.
Enough is Enough. You are a MERCHANT OF HATE. https://t.co/4thsyNL3nx
Gandhi had criticised the police for allegedly taking three hours to admit the victim Rakbar Khan to a hospital just 6 km away. “This is Modi’s brutal ‘New India’, where humanity is replaced with hatred and people are crushed and left to die,” the Congress president had tweeted.
Khan was allegedly beaten to death by a mob while he and his friend were transporting two cows and their calves near Lalwandi village in the district’s Ramgarh tehsil.

Why?
They took a tea-break enroute.

The police officers allegedly stopped for tea along the way, and also waited to arrange a vehicle to transport the seized cows to a shelter, NDTV has reported. Three men have been arrested in the case so far.
Minister of Textiles Smriti Irani accused the Congress president of practising “vulture politics” while Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore asked him to “stop using a crime for political gains”.
Rahul Gandhi’s family presided over the worst form of hate in 1984, Bhagalpur & Nellie & many other instances.

It is shameful that he is doing the same through VULTURE POLITICS.
Not a single instance goes by where he doesn't attempt to rupture social bonds for electoral gains. https://t.co/kpX3n1Kcc0
Mr Rahul Gandhi, STOP using a crime for political gains.

The local police is already on the case. Justice will be served.
Stop sowing seeds of hatred in society simply for a few votes. https://t.co/0CvhcUz6ov
