Neeraj Pandey’s new movie Aiyaary stars Sidharth Malhotra as an Indian Army officer who goes rogue while on the trail of a procurement scam. Manoj Bajpayee plays his officer, who tries to bring him back on the right path. The cast includes Rakul Preet Singh, Kumud Mishra, Anupam Kher, Adil Hussain and Naseeruddin Shah.
Aiyaary (it means magician or shape-shifter) will be released on January 26, 2018, on the same day as R Balki’s Padman. Malhotra has gone in for a major image makeover that has the potential of working out for him far better than 2017’s flop A Gentleman. The real star, of course, is Pandey, the director of the hits A Wednesday, Special 26 and Baby.
