“It is the only bank that has never been robbed and we are going to rob it,” says Pablo Schreiber in the trailer for Den of Thieves. Los Angeles’s most notorious robbery crew wants to pull off an almost perfect crime at the state’s Federal Reserve Bank, but the gang is about to lock horns with the state’s Sheriff Department, headed by a trigger-happy Nick Flanagan (Gerard Butler). As Big Nick, as Flanagan is known, resolves to do everything it takes to bring down the crew, the line between the good cops and the bad guys starts to blur.
The heist thriller, screenwriter Christian Gudegast’s directorial debut, will be released on January 19, 2018. The movie also stars 50 Cent, O’Shea Jackson Jr and Evan Jones.
