Radha Mohan’s Tamil remake of Suresh Triveni’s Tumhari Sulu will be titled Kaatrin Mozhi (Language of the Wind). The remake, starring Jyotika, will be released in October 2018. The title has been inspired by a song from Mohan’s hit film Mozhi (2007), also starring Jyotika.
Tumhari Sulu traces the journey of a housewife (Vidya Balan) who becomes the host of a late-night radio show, leading to tensions with her husband.
Tamil actor Vidharth (Mynaa) and Telugu actress Lakshmi Manchu will step into the parts played by Manav Kaul and Neha Dhupia in the original. The remake is being bankrolled by Dhananjayan Govind’s Bofta Media Works.
