Eco India: How a community in Kerala is building resilience after deadly landslides in July
More than 400 residents of Wayanad are being trained to read and record weather data to help predict any deadly rainfall in the future.
Correction: At 10.25 minutes, the report erroneously stated: “In 2017, he (Rajesh Krishnan) started an agro based company in Wayanad called TAPCo.”
At 12.12 minutes, the report erroneously stated: “Rajesh’s company has even built a weather calendar to incentivise their paddy farmers to actively use the weather model".
The corrected fact is that Rajesh Krishnan is the CEO of Thirunelly Agri Producer Company Ltd ( TAPCo), a Farmer Producer Company ( FPC) formed by organic farmers who cultivate traditional rice varieties of Wayanad.
We regret the inaccuracy and stand corrected.
