We’ll remember the successful technologies that 2017 gave us. From self-driven vehicles to advanced robots, from Apple’s face-recognition system to the new Amazon Echo, these are the technologies we’ll see a lot more of in 2018.
But what about the ones that didn’t make it? In case you want a reminder, that’s what the video above does for you. For instance, anyone who bought a 3D TV won’t know what to do with it this year.
Apple retired its iPod Nano and Shuffle, which were enormously successful in their time. The Microsoft products that met their “blue screens of death” probably couldn’t look back with the same satisfaction. Goodbye, Kinect for X-Box, and the Windows Phone. Sad, but there it is.
