Digital collectives Daak and Mother Tongue Twisters on Saturday organised a virtual poetry reading session that featured a host of poets and translators reading poetry on the theme “the language of love: love poetry from the subcontinent”. Participants for the session included Mamta Sagar, Subhro Bandopadhyay, Faizan Bukhari, Avner Pariat, and Mohini Gupta.

During the session, the translators read out the works of Mahadevi Verma, Akhil Katyal, Piyush Mishra, etc. Poems from Bangla, Khasi, and Kashmiri languages were also read.
