Indian Bank has begun its 2018 recruitment by issuing a notification detailing 145 vacancies for Specialist Officer (SO) positions. Online registrations for all the positions will begin on April 10th, with the last date for registration being May 2nd.

The details of Indian Bank’s SO vacancies in different departments are as follows:

The SO positions at Indian Bank to be filled include Assistant General Manager, Chief Manager, Senior Manager, and Manager, in a range of roles with the different departments, with positions reserved for the Schedule Caste, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backwards Classes.

Here’s how to apply:

  1. Log in to the official Indian Bank website (  
  2. Click on the ‘Career’ link (top right).  
  3. Click on ‘Recruitment of Specialist Officers’ notification. A PDF will be downloaded.  
  4. Open the PDF and click on ‘Apply Online’.    
  5. You will have to upload your photograph and signature and pay the fee (Rs. 100 for SC/ST/PWD candidates; Rs. 600 for others).  

Applications will be shortlisted based on eligibility criteria and the selection process will include an interview with the candidates for the Specialist Officer position. If Indian Bank receives a large number of applications, then they may conduct a Preliminary Screening Test to narrow down the number of candidates.
