TNEA 2018: Anna University releases merit list for engineering admission, check at tnea.ac.in
Anna University is expected to begin its counselling process for engineering seats based on the TNEA 2018 merit list in the first week of July.
The rank list or merit list for the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) 2018, conducted by Anna University, was released on Thursday, June 28th. Keerthana Ravi from Coimbatore topped the TNEA 2018 merit list for engineering admissions. Candidates who have applied for admission can check their rank on the official website, tnea.ac.in. The university informed that the counselling process is expected to start in the first week of July.
Anna University does not conduct any entrance exam and the TNEA merit list is drafted based on students’ class 12th marks. Students in the merit list will get provisional admission to engineering courses in the state, and once the documents are verified, their admission will be cleared by the university.
Candidates will need to bring their admit card, proof of nationality, Aadhar card, a copy of their online application form, their class 12th mark sheet and their class 10th mark sheet at the time of online document verification.
In the state of Tamil Nadu, 571 participating engineering institutions grant admissions to first year BE/BTech degree courses under Anna University via the TNEA merit list.

- Log on to the official website of TNEA 2018.
- Enter your User ID, Date of Birth, and the Captcha characters and click on Login.
- Your rank will be displayed.
Candidates can click on this direct link and enter the necessary details and ascertain the cut-off marks of colleges seeking admissions via TNEA.
