Huawei’s latest offering in China, dubbed the Honor Note 10, could likely be powered by a massive 5,000mAh battery, something that has been teased by a post on the company’s official Weibo page. The Honor Note 10 teaser image released by the brand also makes a mention about ‘cool’ technology, although it is uncertain exactly what that is.

The smartphone is all set to debut on July 31st, judging by the teaser. The latest development emerges just days after the specifications of the upcoming handset surfaced on TENAA, China’s telecommunications authority. The mention of the ‘cool’ technological feature in the teaser is thought to be a reference to a thermal management system; however, that will be confirmed only on July 31st, when the Honor Note 10 is launched in China.

Those interested by the news will have to wait a little longer, as the latest teaser did not spill the beans on any key specifications. However, based on earlier reports, the Honor Note 10 is expected to feature a HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC and a full-HD+ AMOLED display. Earlier reports mentioned the presence of a 4,900mAh battery, so it seems the speculation was on the money in that respect. The phone could well likely be offered in 6GB and 8GB RAM options as well as 64GB, 128GB, and 512GB on-board storage variants.

The company released this teaser to confirm the date for the official launch of their flagship phablet, quashing earlier rumours of an August Honor Note 10 launch. No official date for the global or India launch has been revealed by the company.
