TNEA Counselling 2018: Second allotment result to be declared today at tnea.ac.in
The TNEA counselling also opened its website for candidates to lock seats for third round of allotment.
Anna University’s Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) 2018 second allotment final result will be released today. Candidates who have registered to participate in the TNEA 2018 counselling process can check the official website, tnea.ac.in, to check the result. Second allotment round is for candidates whose aggregate marks are below 175 but above 150.
The TNEA has also opened the website for third round of allotment for students whose aggregate marks are above 125 but below 150. Eligible candidates can log in the TNEA website and lock their choices. The last date to lock the choices for third round is August 6th until 5:00 pm.
The University had released the tentative second allotment result on August 2nd and after the conformation of tentative allotment, final allotment will be released. All candidates whose names appear in the allotment list are supposed to report to the institutes on or before August 8th.
The first allotment final results were published on July 30th and the reporting process was conducted from July 31st to August 3rd. TNEA counselling process had commenced on July 21st.

- Log in to the TNEA official website.
- Under registered Users Login, enter the details and click on ‘Login’.
- The allotment result will be displayed.

Anna University had released the TNEA merit list on June 29th. In the state of Tamil Nadu, 571 participating engineering institutions grant admissions to first year BE/BTech degree courses under Anna University via the TNEA merit list.
