UPSC CDS 2018: Notification to be released tomorrow; check at upsc.gov.in
The UPSC will invite applications for CDS 2018 exam from August 8th. The UPSC CDS 2018 exam is scheduled for November 18th.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is expected to release a notification and start inviting applications for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination 2018 from tomorrow, August 8th. All interested candidates can apply for the exam at upsconline.nic.in. The notification for the examination will be available at upsc.gov.in.
The last date to apply for the CDS 2018 will be September 3rd and the Preliminary exam is scheduled for November 18th. the CDS exam is conducted every year by the UPSC to recruit candidates to the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, and Officers Training Academy. The vacancy details will be released with the notification.
The recruitment process for the CDS is conducted in three phases. The first phase involves an online examination. Candidates who clear the first phase are eligible to appear for the SSB interview round, after which selected candidates will undergo a document verification process and an interview round.
Depending upon the position for which a candidate is applying, the minimum qualification range from a graduate in any discipline to an engineering degree. The minimum age limit for the candidates who are interested to apply for the CDS is 20 years and the maximum age limits is 24-25 years.
The detailed schedule and number of vacancies will also be made available in the notification. The CDS 2017 notification was released on November 19th, 2017, and the final result was released in the month of May 2018.
