OFSS Bihar 2018: First revised cut-off list released; check at ofssbihar.in
OFSS had released the first cut-off list in July but had to cancel it for various reasons. Now, the new and revised cut-off list has been issued.
Bihar Online Facilitation System for Students (OFSS) declared the first revised cut-off list for admissions to various universities and colleges in the state of Bihar. All candidates who have applied to participate in the admission process can check the official website, ofssbihar.in, to see if they qualify to take admission based on the cut-off marks. Candidates who seek admissions based on the first cut-off list need to finish the process on or before August 16th.
The Bihar School Examination Board which runs the OFSS has issued this revised list after the first list issued on July 23rd had to be cancelled. Many colleges and universities had added or deleted courses that they were offering since the first list. Some universities had even asked the board to delete names of colleges affiliated. Moreover, many students had missed to register themselves for the process. Keeping these issues in perspective, the first list was cancelled.
Here is how to check the Bihar OFSS 2018 first cut-off list:
- Log in to the Bihar OFSS official website.
- Click on the first cut-off list green button on the home page.
- Select the university where one wants to apply and click on ‘Show’.
- The cut-off marks for various courses and colleges will be listed.
The board instructed candidates who seek to take admissions based on the first cut-off list to click on the saffron button on the home page and enter the barcode number and the mobile number to take the print out of common application form. Two copies of common application form and six passport size photos are needed to take admission at the desired institution.
The board also released a notification with regard to the first cut-off list which states that around 1.66 lakh students applied in the second registration process who had not applied during the first phase. Moreover, around 1.19 lakh students changed their options/choices.
