The big news: India A roar to victory
India A won the quadrangular series after beating Australia A by 57 runs on Sunday. Opting to bat first, India A put 266 on the scoreboard in their allotted 50 overs for the loss of four wickets. Mandeep Singh top scored with 95 followed by 61 from captain Manish Pandey.
However, the day belonged to spinners as Yuzuvendra Chahal who took 4/34 and, along with Karun Nair and Axar Patel, dismantled the Australian line-up to help India A clinch the series with a 57-run victory. Nair and Patel bagged two wickets each at the Harrup Park, Mackay.
