Australia captain Meg Lanning, star all-rounder Ellyse Perry, England’s Danielle Wyatt will be playing alongside India’s Harmanpreet Kaur and Mithali Raj in the upcoming Indian Premier League exhibition match at the Wankhede Stadium.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India announced the squads for the upcoming Women’s T20 Challenge Match on Thursday. Alyssa Healy, Suzie Bates, Beth Mooney, and Danielle Hazell will be among the big international names in the other team.
BCCI had earlier announced that Harmanpreet and opener Smriti Mandhana will be the captains, and the teams names have been announced as IPL Supernovas and IPL Trailblazers respectively.
The one-off encounter will have 26 players, which includes 10 international players from Australia, New Zealand and England. The match will be played before the first Qualifier match on May 22 at 2 pm in Mumbai.
