A militant was killed and two Indian Army jawans were injured in an encounter in the Kunzer area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday, reported ANI. The Jammu and Kashmir Police were conducting a joint search operation with the army after being informed about the presence of militants in the area, reported the Hindustan Times. A police spokesperson said the area was cordoned off, before a gunfight started with the militants after they were spotted. The exchange of fire is still going on, according to latest reports.
