Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra, who recently made a successful international debut with American TV show Quantico, will present an award at this year's Oscars, which will be held on February 28, reported The Indian Express. The Academy announced a second list of presenters on its website on Tuesday. The second list includes Steve Carell, Quincy Jones, Byung-hun Lee, Jared Leto, Julianne Moore, Olivia Munn, Margot Robbie, Jason Segel, Andy Serkis, JK Simmons, Kerry Washington and Reese Witherspoon.

The 33-year-old Chopra is currently shooting for the Season 2 of the US show, which won her a People's Choice Award for her performance as FBI trainee Alex Parrish. She will be the sole representative from India at the 2016 Oscars after Court, the country's official entry in the best foreign film category, failed to make it to the final list. Chopra expressed her happiness on Twitter.

Last week, the Academy unveiled its first batch of presenters, which included Benicio Del Toro, Tina Fey, Whoopi Goldberg, Ryan Gosling, Kevin Hart, Lady Gaga, Sam Smith, Charlize Theron, Jacob Tremblay, The Weeknd and Pharrell Williams. The lists have been noted for featuring a diverse set of celebrities. After a controversy erupted over actors Spike Lee and Jada Pinkett deciding to boycott this year's Oscar ceremony citing lack of racial diversity in nominations, the governing body of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences said that it will double the number of women and diverse members of the Academy by 2020, reported The Guardian.
