President Pranab Mukherjee conferred the Padma awards on 56 personalities on Monday, including badminton player Saina Nehwal, Dhirubhai Ambani (posthumously), actors Anupam Kher and Ajay Devgn. The list also includes Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, archer Deepika Kumar, former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Jagmohan, dancer Yamini Krishnamurthi, former Comptroller and Auditor General Vinod Rai, and filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar. The entire list of 112 awardees can be found here. The rest of the awardees, including actors Rajinikanth and Priyanka Chopra will be given their awards at a separate function to be held next month.
