Petrol prices increased by Rs 3.38, diesel by Rs 2.67 per litre
The price revision was made after international crude oil prices went up.
The prices of petrol and diesel were increased on Wednesday, by Rs 3.38 and Rs 2.67 respectively. The move was reportedly made after international crude oil prices rose in the last fortnight. This will bring the cost of a litre of petrol in Delhi to Rs 63.47 and that of a litre of diesel to Rs 52.94.
Oil companies review fuel prices in India every fortnight. Petrol and diesel prices were cut four times in the last two months because of decreasing international oil prices.
