Facebook’s Instagram on Tuesday introduced a face filter feature for selfies. The new option lets users transform a selfie “into something fun and entertaining”. The feature has options ranging from math equations swirling around the user’s head to koala ears that twitch and a butterfly crown or wrinkle-smooth makeup.

Users can experiment with the initial eight face filters by opening the camera and selecting the face icon on the bottom right. The introduction is similar to the features Snapchat offers. Instagram had earlier cloned Snap’s slideshow-sharing format, overlaid creative tools, disappearing Direct messages and more, TechCruch reported.

Instagram has also launched “Rewind” which allows videos to play in reverse. Another new feature lets users use a hashtag sticker over their visuals.
