Indonesia: At least one dead in blasts at Jakarta bus station
Witnesses said the explosions occurred within 10 minutes of each other, near a bus stop and a parking zone for two-wheelers.
Indonesian police on Wednesday said several people were hurt in two explosions near a transport terminal in Jakarta, AFP reported. At least one civilian was killed and an Indonesian police officer was injured during the incident, Straits Times reported.
Andry Wibowo, the head of East Jakarta police, told Metro TV that people had heard two explosions and three people had been hurt, Reuters reported.
The area is densely populated. Witnesses said the explosions occurred within 10 minutes of each other near a bus stop and a parking zone for two-wheelers, Strait Times reported. Photos from the site of the explosion were being circulating on social media.
