Three dead, 57 injured after bridge collapses in Kerala’s Kollam district
There were 70 employees of Kerala Minerals and Metals Limited on the metal structure when it came crashing down.
At least three people died and 57 injured after a footbridge on the premises of Kerala Minerals and Metals Limited in Kollam district’s Chavara village collapsed on Monday. Those dead were identified employees of the firm, The Indian Express reported.
Around 70 employees of the company were on the bridge when it came crashing down at 10.30 am, ANI reported.

The police are investigating why the bridge collapsed.
