A marksheet issued by a college in Aligarh affiliated to a university in Agra went viral on social media on Wednesday after the institute printed the photograph of Bollywood actor Salman Khan instead of the student’s, the Hindustan Times reported.

The report card belongs to a first year Bachelor of Arts student of the Amrata Singh Memorial Degree College. Dr Girija Shankar of the Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar University said that the error was not part of the administration.

“It is the student who fills the form and pastes his photo, which is forwarded by the college principal after verification,” he said, adding that an invigilator, too, is supposed to verify the content.

The error was rectified once it came to the notice of the university authority, The Times of India reported. Unidentified officials in the administration told the daily that a mark sheet bearing the photo of Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi had also been discovered.
