Former Defence Minister AK Antony in hospital after minor brain haemorrhage, may undergo surgery
Doctors said he suffered the haemorrhage after he fell inside his house.
Former Defence Minister AK Antony was admitted to a New Delhi hospital on Wednesday, after he suffered a minor brain haemorrhage, PTI reported.
“He suffered the haemorrhage after he fell inside his home,” an unidentified senior doctor at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital told PTI. He may undergo surgery on Thursday, hospital authorities said, IANS reported.
The 76-year-old Congress leader from Kerala served two terms as Defence Minister and three terms as the chief minister of Kerala.
