Sridevi’s husband and producer Boney Kapoor is planning to make a film on the late actress, Mid-Day reported on Tuesday. Sridevi died on February 24 in Dubai.

“There are plans to make a film, but I can’t tell you whether it will be a biopic or documentary,” Kapoor told the publication. “I don’t see the need to rush into anything. Whenever there is any further development, everyone will come to know about it.”

Boney Kapoor has registered three titles with the Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association, he told Mid-Day. These are rumoured to be Sri, Sridevi and Sri Ma’am, the publication said.

Sridevi passed away on February 24 at the age of 54 while in Dubai for a wedding. She had acted in more than 300 films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. One of the most successful actresses of her generation, Sridevi won multiple accolades during her career, including Filmfare Awards and state awards. She posthumously won the National Film Award this year for her performance in Mom (2017). She married Kapoor in 1996.
