God may be dead, like Nietzsche said, but godmen are not. The video above God Men: The Dawn of Godness takes on India’s obsession with the ilk. It shows a young man’s transformation into a godman, after much distress at his corporate job in the IT sector.
Once ‘godman’ he fights allopathy and exorcises the doctor with an apple. The alternate cure on offer? Gau-mutra of course, in three great flavors of kesar, strawberry and golgappa.
Next he cures homosexuality, and then goes on to throw common sense out the window.
He is aided in his tasks by the caste system and oppressive misogynistic systems in place like dowry and sati.
The meat-eating “carnivorous cougar” though turns out to be too devilish for the god man to take on yet.
