Watch: The ‘Stranger Things’ theme played on a santoor and a tabla is an even stranger thing
This Indian classical cover brought the familiar theme closer home. Again.
The second season of Netflix’s retro sci-fi show Stranger Things ended before it even started, or so it seems. What to do while we wait for the third season?
There’s always the Indian cover (above) of the Stranger Things theme (original theme at the bottom) to marvel over. Played on the santoor and tabla, Kamaljeet Ahluwalia and Jas Ahluwalia’s Indian classical version of the theme is an absolute joy to hear. Don’t forget this Carnatic version of the theme from 2016. And in case you need a refresher of the original Netflix theme, watch the opening credits below.
