Caught on camera: The underground train network in New York City got flooded after heavy rains
It was ‘raining’ inside stations and on trains.
Rain or hail, the trusty New York City subway will always continue to function. Right?
Early this week, the city was hit by a heavy storm, with torrential rain coming down at up to half an inch an hour, even turning into sleet and snow in some areas, according to The Guardian. The rains were so intense that the water found its way into the Underground.
One commuter uploaded the video above on twitter, saying it was from 145th Street/Broadway. Many others added videos of what they saw, and it was a sorry sight all round.
