MP’s Vyapam model now established in SSC: Congress
Priyanka Chaturvedi claimed that leaks in SSC, CBSE and Food Corporation of India exams started as Vyapam scam in Madhya Pradesh.
Congress Party National Spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi in Bhopal on Monday said that the Vyapam model of paper leak has been extended to the national level with leaks in Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), and now Food Corporation of India (FCI).
Talking to media at Congress Office in Bhopal, Chaturvedi said that the whole process of leak started in Madhya Pradesh under BJP government. Since the government failed to take strict action against it in the state, the model has been established throughout the country.
Referring to the Saturday protest in which some SSC aspirants were injured, she added that government has been unable to stop the leak and when questioned by students, they use ‘lathis’ as answers.
Instead of creating employment or providing education, the Centre is leaking all the examination papers, added Chuturvedi.
Congress Party in the past has demanded a time-bound probe into the alleged leak of SSC Combined Graduate Level Tier II examination papers. The Party has also demanded the resignation of the Minister of State Jitendra Singh under whose ministry the SSC functions.
Chaturvedi alleged in the press briefing that both Shivraj’s government, which governs MP state, and Modi government at the Centre have shielded the scams related to government exams.
