State Bank of India (SBI) will be conducting its Preliminary exam for the recruitment of Junior Associates (Customer Support and Sales) clerical cadre on June 23rd, 24th and 30th, 2018. The exam was supposed to be held in the months of March/April 2018, but was postponed. The SBI JA recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 8,301 clerical positions in the bank.

There have been few changes in this year’s SBI JA exam pattern. SBI Clerk or JA 2018 examination will be conducted in three batches. The Preliminary exam will be of 100 marks and it is divided into three sections, with each section being given 20 minutes, totalling 60 minutes. The English section will have 35 questions, while the numerical and reasoning ability sections will have 30 questions each.

This year, candidates appeared for the SBI JA exam don’t have to score any minimum marks to qualify for the SBI JA Main exam. Around 80,000 top ranked candidates, irrespective of their total marks, will qualify for the SBI JA Main exam, which is schedule for August 5th. In the SBI’s JA Main exam, candidates will be tested on local language proficiency.

The SBI JA 2018 admit cards were released on June 6th and are still available for download at this link. Call letters or admit cards for the Main exam will be released on July 23rd.

SBI released the notification for its Junior Associates 2018 exam in February this year. Later, the bank revised the exam timetable.
