UPSC Civil Services Preliminary 2018 results declared, check at upsconline.nic.in
The wait for UPSC civil services preliminary exam result is finally over, and around 10,000 candidates have cleared the exam.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) today released the results for Civil Services Preliminary 2018 examination. After days of speculations and unconfirmed reports, the result was released today, July 14th. Candidates can directly check their results by logging on to the UPSC’s official site and checking for their roll number in the declared list.
The CSE preliminary examination was conducted on June 3rd this year and around 3 lakh candidates had appeared for the exam. Roll numbers of around 10,000 candidates have been listed by the commission who are eligible to apply for the Main examination. All the qualified candidates will have to apply again in the Detailed Application Form (DAF) for Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2018 on the UPSC website.

- Navigate and click on the “Result- Civil Services(Preliminary) Examination, 2018” tab.
- Alternatively, click on the direct link to access the result PDF.
- Check for your roll no in the declared list of numbers.
The DAF (CSM) will be available on the UPSC website from July 23rd to August 6th until 6 PM. The form has to be filled and submitted online for admission to the CSE Main exam, which is scheduled to be conducted on September 28th.
UPSC stated that the e-admit card along with the time table for the Main Examination will be uploaded on the Commission’s website around three weeks before the commencement of the examination.
The results of six candidates for the CSE prelims were withheld pertaining to issue regarding their candidatures being subjudice, UPSC’s notice stated.
