The second merit list for admission to Maharashtra FYJC colleges has been released by the Maharashtra education department. This second merit list for first year junior college (FYJC) admissions was released at 11 a.m. today.

Admissions to FYJC colleges in Maharashtra at college level have begun today, July 19th, and will run up to 5 p.m. on July 21st. As per the official notification, the vacancy list and cut-off of the second merit list will be put up online on July 23rd, while filling of Part 1 and Part 2 of admissions forms will take place on July 23rd and 24th.

The third and fourth merit list is expected on July 26th and August 2nd respectively. The Maharashtra FYJC second merit list was supposed to be released on July 16th, but there was a delay with the second round of FYJC admissions.

The merit list for all six regions – Mumbai, Pune, Amravarti, Nagpur, Nashik and Aurangabad – will be made available on their respective official websites. The FYJC second merit list for Mumbai was released on mumbai.11thadmission.net and for Pune on pune.11thadmission.net. After logging in, students can check the college allotted to them.

How to  check Maharashtra FYJC second merit list

  1. Log on to the official sites of your respective region. For example mumbai.11thadmission.net for Mumbai region.
  2. On the homepage, click on the ‘FYJC merit list round 3′ link.
  3. A new page will open. Enter your application form number and click on Submit.
  4. Your result will appear on the screen. Download the same for future reference.

In Vaze-Kelkar college, Mulund, for open category applicants, the cut-off for science stream dropped by 6 marks, meaning students who have scored 93% are eligible to take admission, the Indian Express reported.

The first merit list for FYJC admissions in Maharashtra was declared on July 6th. As per reports, around 2.3 lakh candidates had applied for admissions to various colleges, out of which 1.2 lakh candidates were allocated seats.
