Just a short while before Samsung’s scheduled unpacked event in New York on August 9th, rumours have been abuzz around the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, which, it is expected, will be launched at the event. And now, new talk about the debut of the Galaxy Tab S4 at the event has been doing the rounds.

A GSMArena report citing TechnoBuffalo mentioned the possibility of the launch of the Galaxy Tab S4 alongside the Note 9. It was initially speculated that the Tab S4 would be launched at the IFA 2018.

Meanwhile, according to Techradar, UK-based consumer technology news, reviews site, Samsung will be hosting a “special sneak peek event” on August 1st, and Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 will be the star attraction there.

As per the report, the Galaxy Tab S4 will come with Samsung’s DeX capabilities. The device, it is claimed, can be hooked up as a monitor using the USB-C port for a DeX experience, an experience similar to a desktop.

The Twitter-based tipster Evan Blass had earlier leaked a white Galaxy Tab S4, revealing that the tablet might come with an optional keyboard, which might be sold separately. It might sport a thinner bezel for a larger display, which is touted to be 10.5-inch.

However, contradicting that leak, tipster website SlashLeaks released a so-called hands-on video of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4, where the device can bee seen in white and black and visibly thick bezels.
