Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the University Grants Commission’ National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) result today, July 31st, at around 4:30 pm. It was earlier reported today that the results were expected this week but the exact date and time was not confirmed.

All the candidates who had appeared for the 2018 UGC NET examination can check their results at the official website, cbsenet.nic.in. The results are also available at cbseresults.nic.in.

The CBSE had released the answer keys to UGC NET exam on July 24th. CBSE has created a record by announcing the result within a month’s time of conducting the exam. Generally, CBSE would take around 3-4 months to announce the result.

Here is how to check the CBSE UGC NET 2018 result:

  1. Log in to the official CBSE UGC NET website.     
  2. Click on CBSE UGC NET 2018 exam result on the left side panel.    
  3. Alternatively, click on the direct link to access the candidate log in page for CBSE NET 2018 result.    
  4. Enter the application number, roll number, and date of birth and click on ‘Submit’.    
  5. The result will be displayed and can be printed out.    

CBSE has also uploaded the revised answer keys for UGC NET 2018 after taking into account the objections. The revised answer keys can be accessed on this link.

The responsibility of conducting the NET exam will get transferred to National Testing Agency (NAT) from 2019. UGC NET 2018 examination was conducted on July 8th in which a total of around 11.5 lakh candidates had appeared.
