Art of Living foundation head Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has been invited to speak at the Jawaharlal Nehru University’s 13th Nehru Memorial Lecture this year.
Every year the varsity invites eminent personalities to deliver the lecture.
Ravi Shankar will speak on “Inner Peace, Outer Dynamism,” in the Convention Centre at 11 am on November 13. Prime Minister of Nepal Sher Bahadur Deuba, the Dalai Lama, and former Presidents of India, Pranab Mukherjee and Dr Abdul Kalam have delivered the lectures in the past.
The institute said it was also organising a health and wellness camp, which will include an interaction with Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and a concert by musician and singer Vikram Hazra at the JNU Stadium from 4 pm.
The event will be telecast live in more than 100 countries, JNU professor Rana P Singh said.
