Gurugram school murder: Court rejects juvenile accused’s bail application
On September 8, the Class 2 student was found with his throat slit inside a washroom of the Ryan International School.
A Gurugram court on Friday rejected the bail plea of the accused juvenile in connection with the murder of the Class 2 student at Ryan International School in September, ANI reported. On Wednesday, the Juvenile Justice Board had allowed the Central Bureau of Investigation to take fingerprints of the 16-year-old accused.
On September 8, the Class 2 student was found with his throat slit inside a washroom of the Gurugram school. The autopsy revealed injuries on the boy’s neck, inflicted by a sharp-edged weapon, were the cause of death. The Gurugram Police initially arrested a bus conductor, but the Central Bureau of Investigation detained a 16-year-old Class 11 student of the same school for the crime on November 8.
A team of officials from the investigating agency will visit the observation home in Faridabad, where the juvenile is lodged, on December 19. The boy’s parents and lawyers should accompany the officials, the board said, according to the Hindustan Times.
