Indian Navy drone crashes minutes after taking off from Porbandar base
No casualties were reported.

An unmanned aerial vehicle of the Indian Navy crashed in Gujarat’s Porbandar on Thursday, minutes after taking off, a spokesperson said. No casualties have been reported. The Navy has constituted a board of inquiry to investigate the crash.

The Gujarat Police said the drone crashed in the compound of an ice factory near Udyognagar police station. “The drone caught fire after crashing and the police called fire fighters,” Superintendent of Police Shobha Bhutda told The Indian Express.
Sub-Inspector UB Akhed told the daily that the Navy had started collecting the debris to conduct its investigation.
