Two people were arrested for allegedly molesting a girl and videotaping the act in Bihar’s Gaya city, senior police officials told ANI on Monday. Two videos of the incident have gone viral on social media. The police said they were trying to identify other people involved in the incident.

The videos purportedly show two people molesting and dragging the girl while verbally abusing her, according to ABP Live. One of the videos is dated May 17 and the other May 18.

Gaya Senior Superintendent of Police Rajiv Mishra told ANI that the videos are being verified and that action will be taken against the culprits. Additional Director General of Police SK Singhal said six people have been named in the First Information Report filed in the case.

This is the second incident of a girl being molested on camera in Bihar in less than a month. On April 30, four boys were arrested for allegedly molesting a girl and videotaping the incident in the state’s Jehanabad district.

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi said the government has taken cognisance of the incident and a speedy trial would be conducted. He also urged people to help the government prevent such incidents.
