Krushna Abhishek and Bharti Singh will produce a comedy show together, The Indian Express reported. The show is likely to be made under the banner of H3 Productions, set up by Singh’s husband, Harssh Lambachiya.
Abhishek was last seen in Sony TV’s comedy show The Drama Company (June 2017-January 2018). “I want to come back to television soon and for the same, I am working on a comedy show with Bharti,” Abhishek told The Indian Express. “It will be a super exciting show that will be a complete potboiler with some really interesting innovation.”
Singh said that the duo plans to approach channels once they are “done cooking the content”. “Working with Krushna is always fun as we have a great understanding. Even if I miss a punch, he takes charge and bacha leta hai (saves me). If everything goes well, you will soon hear good news from me. But mind it, not pregnancy but announcement of our show,” she said.
Abhishek and Singh have appeared together on several comedy shows like Comedy Ka Daily Soap (2010), Comedy Nights Bachao (2015-2017), and Comedy Nights Live (2016). Abhishek will be next seen in Vinod Tiwari’s directorial debut Teri Bhabhi Hai Pagle, which will be released on July 13.
