Following US President Trump’s speech at the World Economic Forum 2026 in Davos in which he outlined proposals for peace in Gaza and announced his “Peace Board” initiative, Syse offers insights on approaches to peace, diplomacy and the preservation of human dignity.

Drawing on his experience as former head of corporate governance at Norges Bank Investment Management, the world’s largest sovereign wealth fund, Syse also reflects on India’s economic rise, the challenge of employment generation and India’s evolving role as a global power.
