Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) declared the result of Engineering Services 2018 Mains exam on August 2nd on its official website. The Mains exams for the 2018 Engineering Services was conducted on July 1st for candidates who had cleared the preliminary exam. All the candidates who had appeared for the exam can check the UPSC website for the result.

Successful candidates are eligible for the next round which would involve interview and personality test. All successful candidates need to register online their detailed application form (DAF) which will be made available from August 9th to August 20th until 6 pm. The tentative date for the interview round is from September 2018 onwards.

Here is how to check the UPSC Engineering Services 2018 Mains result:

  1. Log in to the UPSC website.    
  2. Click on ‘Written Result - Engineering Services (Main) Examination 2018’ under ‘What’s New’ section.    
  3. Click on the link under the ‘Documents’ column.    
  4. Alternatively, click on the link to access the document.     
  5. The document contains roll numbers of all the successful candidates and detailed instructions.    

The Commission had released the notification for 2018 Engineering Services on September 27th, 2017. The Preliminary exam was conducted on January 7th and the result was declared in February. The Commission aims to fill approximately 588 engineering vacancies across several departments of the central government.
