The Supreme Court, on Monday, asked the Delhi and District Cricket Association to give an undertaking to follow and implement the recommendations of the Lodha Committee, reported ANI.
The Supreme Court, on Monday, also ordered the four-member Committee of Administrators to release the funds to the DDCA after new chief, former SC judge Vikramjit Sen moved Supreme Court.
A bench of the apex court, headed by Justice Dipak Misra and comprising Justices DY Chandrachud and AM Khanwilkar, said that DDCA would receive the funds only after it gives the undertaking.
Last month, a meeting with the executive committee members of the board was held at the DDCA office, with nine of the 16 members who attended, agreeing to adopt the recommendations.
The DDCA has has not been receiving fund from the Board of Control for Cricket in India after failing to submit audited accounts for the past few years.
