Mominul Haque hit his second century of the game before the first Test between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka ended in a draw on Sunday. The two teams accepted the draw in the final session of the fifth day in Chittagong after Bangladesh reached 307/5 in their second innings.

Mominul became the first player from Bangladesh to score a century in both innings of a Test, hitting 105 off 174 balls. He had scored 176 in the first innings.

Liton Das hit 94 runs for Bangladesh in the second innings while veteran Sri Lanka spinner Rangana Herath took 2/80.

Sri Lanka had declared their first innings for 713/9, replying to Bangladesh’s 513 runs. The second and final Test will start on February 8 in Dhaka.
