Seven CRPF personnel killed in landmine blast in Chhattisgarh's Dantewada district

Seven Central Reserve Police Force personnel have been killed in a landmine blast allegedly carried out by Naxalites in Chhattisgarh's Dantewada district on Wednesday, reported PTI. At least four others have been injured in the attack, reported ANI. The blast targeted a vehicle in which the CRPF personnel were travelling and was carried out using an improvised explosive device, or IED, according to reports. The CRPF officers were travelling from Sukma to Dantewada, and the blast occurred near the dense Malewada Forest.
DM Awasthi, special director general of police, anti-naxal operations, told ANI that combing operations are underway at the blast site. He added that Inspector General of Bastar SRP Kalluri is on his way to the site.
